| Seymour District Memorial Hospital Seymour is located one hour north of Melbourne via the Hume Highway. SDMH is a publicly funded 30-bed hospital with a long established relationship with the railways and the Puckapunyal Army base.
Barrabill House - our 30-bed aged care facility - is accredited by the Aged Care Standards Agency.
Ambulatory Care Centre - The Ambulatory Care Centre provides inter-disciplinary rehabilitation services and support to enable clients who are disabled, frail, chronically ill or recovering from surgery or injury, to achieve and retain optimal functional independence. The team comprises nurses, social worker, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, dietitians and a consulting geriatrician.
Community Services - Our Community Services Building houses Chronic Disease Management, District Nursing, Palliative Care, Planned Activity Group, Post Acute Care and Renal Dialysis. Additionally there is also a TAFE clinical laboratory, an education room and a video conferencing room (both available for external bookings).
Both the Hospital and Community Services are accredited under the Australian Council on Health Care Standards.
