Planned Activity Group for Adults (including Neighbourhood Links Program)


The Planned Activity Group provides a social activities program for eligible Home and Community Care adults. We are located in the Community Services building at the rear of the hospital.

We also provide a Neighbourhood Links program, which provides social support and respite to Home and Community Care clients. The purpose of the program is to reduce isolation and enhance the client's life with social support through linking clients and volunteers.

Hours of Operation

The centre is open during weekdays. However, Wednesdays are dedicated to specific groups.

Cost

$6.20 attendance fee
midday meal: $5.50 for 3 courses; $5.00 for 2 courses; and from $2.50 for sandwiches. You may instead choose to bring your own lunch.
If you receive 'Meals on Wheels', please notify the coordinator, who will assist you in making the necessary arrangements.

Morning and afternoon tea are provided at no extra cost.

Transport

The Centre has a small bus with wheelchair access and a hoist. The bus is driven by Centre staff to assist you.
