It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Seymour Health website. Part of our recent web upgrade includes an online feedback form. I am always interested in the thoughts and ideas of the community and welcome your comments.
Our goal of resuming full time birthing services has been realised and is being well supported by the local and surrounding communities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all medical, nursing and executive staff for their collaboration, planning and implementation to ensure a safe and sustainable service. The feedback from the many stakeholders has been overwhelmingly positive and I am thrilled to be a part of this exciting achievement.
In addition to the recommencement of birthing services, we have also welcomed the introduction of Monash IVF, School Dental Service and a new primary healthcare program aimed to improve the care for older people suffering from chronic diseases.
We welcome Mr Sandy Cresswell as the incoming Board of Managment President, along with his Board Executive; Mr Ian Chadwick (Vice President) and Mr Terry Old (Treasurer). In addition we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bill Melbourne and Mr Bill Stevens to the Board. Positions on our Board are voluntary and we are grateful for the support and governance of those who give freely of their time and energy to Seymour Health.
I continue to be committed and enthusiastic about leading the hospital strongly into the future and developing professional relationships so that we can continue to consistently provide high quality service to this community.
