Needle and Syringe Program


The Needle and Syringe Program (NSP) is a Victorian Government Strategy aimed to minimise the spread of HIV and Hepatitis C and other blood-borne viruses among intravenous drug users.

The Program acknowledges that people may engage in risky activities and seeks to reduce the harm associated with those activities.

SDMH participates in this fully funded program by providing a non-judgmental and confidential service.
