When you are admitted as a private patient, we will bill your Health Fund directly.

If you have an excess or co-payment on your Policy, the Hospital will send you an account for the gap after we have received payment from the Health Fund. This gap is not payable by Medicare.

Some Doctors or Visiting Specialists and Surgeons charge above the Schedule Fee which means there could be a gap amount payable to the doctor. This is the difference between what the Doctor charges you for your procedure and what your Health Fund pays (Scheduled Fee).  This is NOT a hospital charge - if you have any questions about Doctor's or Specialist's fees, please contact the doctor directly at their rooms.
