Seymour Health provides inpatient medical, surgical and emergency services for public and private patients and
high level residential aged care. Patients are admitted for different reasons, either planned,
(including medical and surgical) or emergency admissions.

Safe Patient Care Act - mixed ward ratios

Under Section 12A of the Safe Patient Care Act, Seymour Health is required to publish mixed ward ratio calculations.
Seymour Health currently has one mixed ward, incorporating Acute Inpatient Services, Urgent Care Centre and Renal Dialysis.
