LOSS AND GRIEF COUNSELLOR/FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER – COMMUNITY SERVICES (R050418) FIXED TERM PART TIME POSITION UNTILL 30 JUNE 2018

Seymour Health currently has a vacancy for a suitably qualified individual to join the Community Services team as a Loss and Grief Counsellor/Family Support Worker.

Along with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Seymour Health achieve its vision and values, the successful applicant must have:

  • Tertiary qualification or substantial experience in one of the following areas: social work, psychology, family support and/or counselling
  • Demonstrated understanding of the philosophy of palliative care and the experience of carers and bereavement
  • Ability to facility group work
  • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Current National Police check
