CSSD INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN MANAGER
PERMANENT POSITION 0.8EFT
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified CSSD Instrument Technician to join our Operating Suite Services at Seymour Health in a management role.

The successful candidate must hold a certificate IV in Sterilisation Services and have relevant experience within a sterilisation department

The successful applicant must:

  • Be highly experienced as an Instrument Technician with current knowledge of all aspects of Sterilising Services and the requirements of AS/NZS 4187
  • Demonstrate knowledge and commitment towards quality improvement activities and actively participate in departmental accreditation processes.
  • Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
  • Satisfactory police check

Previous experience within a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.

PALLIATIVE CARE CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST
FIXED TERM FULL TIME POSITION UNTIL 30 JUNE 2023

Seymour Health currently has a vacancy for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse with post graduate qualifications or experience working in a palliative care setting, to join the Lower Hume Palliative Care team.

This role involves working as part of the community palliative care team. The team provide assessment and support of the palliative clients and carers in their home. This role will work alongside the District Nursing services in the area to deliver care to clients.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Administration Assistant to cover extended leave in Community Services and Dialysis. This role is Monday to Friday (4hrs per day with flexibility) and is to commence at the end of August 2021. The successful candidate will have a Cert III or Cert IV Administration or equivalent and have:

  • Experience in Reception, Administration, Accounts
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in Administration in a similar role
  • Customer Service Skills, Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of computer skills (knowledge of HMS & Harrison, Vital, Oracle, and Microsoft applications an advantage)
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Can do attitude

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Dentist to join the Oral Health Services team at Seymour Health on a part time basis between the hours of 8:15am – 4:36pm.

The Dentist is responsible for the delivery of Adult Dental Services.

The successful applicant will have;

  • a current, unrestricted APHRA registration and qualifications
  • at least 2 years’ experience as a general dentist in a wide range of oral health procedures for both Adults and Children
  • Victorian Radiation Operators License.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of computer skills.
  • Satisfactory police check and working with children check essential prior to commencement.
