ASSOCIATE NURSE UNIT MANAGER, BARRABILL HOUSE - PERMANENT POSITION

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the responsibility of Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Barrabill House.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of unit activities to ensure the provision of optimum levels of care to residents.

Along with a professional attitude and a commitment to help Seymour Health achieve its vision and values, the successful applicant must have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Post graduate qualification and experience as an ANUM
  • Satisfactory police check
  • Current influenza vaccination
  • Genuine empathy for the elderly
  • Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Dementia training would be an advantage.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - CASUAL WEEKDAY POSITION

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Administration Assistant at the Ambulatory Care Centre at Seymour Health on a Casual basis and availability for holiday and sick leave relief.

The successful candidate must hold a Cert III or Cert IV Administration and have:

  • Experience in Reception, Administration, Accounts Demonstrated skills and experience in Administration in a similar role
  • Customer Service Skills, Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of computer skills (knowledge of HMS & Harrison, Vital, Oracle, and Microsoft applications an advantage)
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Can do attitude
